Mahadev Betting App Allegedly Generated ₹94,400 Crore

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) reported to a Raipur court that the Mahadev online betting application and its sister websites have allegedly generated proceeds of crime totaling ₹94,400 crore over the past decade. The agency stated that the primary Mahadev platform remains active and operates a substantial number of panels, according to the Deccan Chronicle.

These findings were presented in the ED’s sixth prosecution complaint, a charge sheet filed recently in a special Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) court in Chhattisgarh. The complaint names 42 individuals and companies as accused parties, according to the Deccan Chronicle. The ED also indicated that 14 individuals have been arrested as part of this ongoing investigation.

The agency initiated a criminal case under the PMLA in October 2022, following seven police First Information Reports (FIRs) filed across Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, and West Bengal, as reported by the Deccan Chronicle.
